The Healing Power of Yoga: Monthly On Line Session Fridays @ 9

Regina guides a yoga practice focused on the healing power of yoga, leaving time for discussion at the end of the hour. Topics include healing stress, anxiety, depression, trauma, mood, as well as physical ailments which often arise from unhealed mental and emotional wounds. Yoga postures will be at the center of healing modalities offered and brief breathing, meditation, and cognitive exercises will also be offered.

Mellow Monday Evening: Slow Flow and Restore

Discover the many benefits of restorative yoga practices for physical and mental health. We will spend time flowing with the breath through simple movements to uncover the areas of tension and then spend most of the class in restorative postures to consciously release the tension using gravity, support, breath, and visualization.

Winter Solstice Restorative and Celebration

Kate and Regina will create space for welcoming the winter season. Whether you struggle with the darkness of winter or enjoy the sparkle of the season, this workshop will explore the meaning and purpose of the period from December 21 through March 21. We will cast a circle in which to restore with hot rocks and gentle touch and discuss how to best nourish ourselves physically, mentally, and emotionally. Breathing techniques, visualization, and meditation included.

Regina will offer the four pillars for a long and healthy life with fully functional cognition. Learn how to take the best possible care of your brain and prevent dementia and Alzheimers. We will explore nutrition, supplements, physical activity and spiritual fitness. After the first hour or teaching and practice, a nourishing lunch will be provided, followed by the second hour of teaching, practice, and discussion.
