Hi! I am Regina. After practicing, studying, and teaching yoga for over thirty years, I can promise you that this is a transformational practice that will change your life. I teach a traditional style of yoga based on the ancient wisdom of the eight limbs and Ayurveda. These tried and true techniques never fail to deliver:
*more self trust
*more compassion for yourself and others
*better boundaries in your relationships
*deeper connection with others
*increased strength, flexibility, and balance both physically and emotionally
On Line, On Demand Course Supporting Your Yoga Lifestyle On and Off the Mat
Trauma, anxiety, depression, and just plain stress disrupt natural rhythms, causing sleep, digestive, emotional, mental and energetic imbalances. The healing routines from the yoga tradition combined with the science of Ayurveda establish and maintain health and balance your life. Because the tools and techniques are based on the laws of nature, your own individual nature and the elements that make up the universe, it is easy, yet transformational, to incorporate both yoga and Ayurvedic principles into your day, week, month, season, and year.
FOR EACH SEASON:
*flow and restorative yoga sessions
*Meditation and breathing techniques
*Dietary guidelines and recipes
FOR EACH DAY:
*healing routines, including morning and evening self care

Our Story
Lotus Yoga was established in 2013 in the Old Mathewson School Building, an historic building in down town Barre, Vermont. Regina was the only teacher for the first few years, but as the sangha, community of students grew, Kate Greenleaf, Joanne Reynolds, and Monika Gadre joined in to provide a dynamic offering of classes, series, and workshops.
*is more than the poses. Yoga is a technology for mental health and can heal trauma, depression and anxiety.
*is for all levels. We teach all levels in all classes, offering props, modifications, and loving encouragement.
*is a practice, not a perfect. We are always in process, learning, and growing.
*uncovers your wholeness, so that you can remember who you really are.
Do you provide mats and other equipment?
Yes, all equipment is available at the studio so that if you are new to yoga, you will be completely supported. AND bringing your own mat is encouraged in the age of Covid and beyond if you end up attending classes regularly.
Do I need to increase my flexibility before starting to practice yoga?
No. Yoga is not about flexibility. It is about strength, balance, and range of motion. However, with regular practice, your flexibility will increase physically, mentally, emotionally, and energetically. Click HERE to read "Yoga Is Not About Flexibility."
If I have an injury or a disability, can I attend your classes?
Yes, when taught and practiced correctly, yoga is is excellent for recovering from injuries and can be modified to be accessible for many disabilities. Wednesday Morning Gentle Yoga would be a good class!
