NATURAL RHYTHMS, HEALING ROUTINES

On Line, On Demand Course Supporting Your Yoga Lifestyle On and Off the Mat

Trauma, anxiety, depression, and just plain stress disrupt natural rhythms, causing sleep, digestive, emotional, mental and energetic imbalances. The healing routines from the yoga tradition combined with the science of Ayurveda establish and maintain health and balance your life. Because the tools and techniques are based on the laws of nature, your own individual nature and the elements that make up the universe, it is easy, yet transformational, to incorporate both yoga and Ayurvedic principles into your day, week, month, season, and year.

FOR EACH SEASON:

*flow and restorative yoga sessions

*Meditation and breathing techniques

*Dietary guidelines and recipes

FOR EACH DAY:

*healing routines, including morning and evening self care

Testimonials

""Regina's yoga instruction is clear and in-depth. Her teachings cover the positions (asanas), the harmonious balance that occurs in the body, breathing techniques and the awareness of self. I always feel a balance of calm and strength after her class... Regina you are by far the BEST yoga instructor I have ever had!""

-Karen, YOGA PRACTITIONER

"Regina Trailweaver is a teacher whose warm and gentle manner welcomes and encourages her students. Her class in a light and airy room provides a haven where students feel safe. She is attuned to her students' various needs and abilities, and provides a variety of options in each yoga pose. She comes to each class with a lesson plan and a theme and shares the philosophy of yoga with us through this theme. She makes liberal use of various aids such as blocks, bolsters, and belts so that students have a safe workout with a maximum, beneficial stretch. Her joy of and love for yoga energizes me."

-Janet, YOGA PRACTITIONER

""I feel relaxed and energized after a yoga class with Regina. This carries over into my daily life. Also I've learned techiniques to deal with anxiety and depression when it arises. My strength and flexibility have increased as well, though I consider that a side benefit.""

Our Story

Lotus Yoga was established in 2013 in the Old Mathewson School Building, an historic building in down town Barre, Vermont.  Regina was the only teacher for the first few years, but as the sangha, community of students grew, Kate Greenleaf, Joanne Reynolds, and Monika Gadre joined in to provide a dynamic offering of classes, series, and workshops.

We believe yoga:

*is more than the poses. Yoga is a technology for mental health and can heal trauma, depression and anxiety.

*is for all levels. We teach all levels in all classes, offering props, modifications, and loving encouragement.

*is a practice, not a perfect. We are always in process, learning, and growing.

*uncovers your wholeness, so that you can remember who you really are.
